Where can I find the picture of the Mathews bow after the shot with the string beyond actual brace height.

Well, you may be surprised.... So far in some intitial testing and high speed video, the STS only causes your nock to leave the string 1/4" sooner than without it.

Here is a little video for you to watch.
This will be the inaugural use of my new video player I wrote for the forum.
You need the latest version of Flash Player to view this video.
Although the arrow only leaves the string 1/4" sooner than without the STS, we have noticed that the STS does reduce forward string travel after the arrow has left the string.
You may find the string movement after the initial impact with the STS interesting.

Wow, that is crazy. It is amazing at how quiet these things shoot
After further review, I think I will serve my string where it hits the STS

Could you do one (video) without the STS?
Would a hand held bow (not in the hooter shooter) show a different result?
Also one showing the string suppresors in action would be interesting also.
Thanks,Lee

Now I see why they recommend serving the string in front of the STS... And why they went to an all rubber stopper. At one point, that string is actually rubbing along the side of the stopper.
As to the first pic... I have it printed out and I hang it behind the metal D-loops. It's not a very good way to sell metal D-loops that we're stuck with. But, it sure has helped me to explain why an individual's roller guard on a low brace height bow (*cough* - LX - *cough*) is looking like it has been dragged over a few miles of gravel road.

Ditto, that is amazing.... I never imagined that the string would rub the side of the STS...I know what I will be serving!!!
Very impressive video
Also, curious what a double STS looks like???

WOW, I never expected that much movement in such a short space/time. I just bought an STS and will have it this week.
GREAT video, and thank you!

I would also really love to see a video without the STS. Side to side comparison. Great job posting that this one! It really makes you wonder about how much stress our equipment takes.

We are not recommending or discouraging it at this time. We are running some tests as well as high-speed video on it, but only as time permits. Once I have more details as to what it does to the overall system, I'll post more.

Can't stop watching this...it is amazing footage
If you watch it and stare at only the boxjax on the STS rod, you can see it is also absorbing forces as well..
One thing that jumps out to me rather quickly is with the way the string and cable moves, one may want to be careful how far up the rod they place the boxjax, especially on the dual mount.
Just my
Symo, can you guys test the dual mount as well?

Symo, that was a great video--one which I will recommend for others to see.
I've been using an STS on my Parker Ext. U-Lite 31 for almost a year now; and if the STS didn't do one other thing for me, I'd still say it is worth having it, since it has virtually elliminated the necessity of wearing an arm-guard while I'm wearing long sleeved shirts, or my hunting camo.
