I'm shooting my Monster at #70 and a 26" draw.

The arrows that I am currently using are 28", .400g Bemans.

So far i have had 5 break.

One broke out of the box, so i assumed I just had a bad arrow. But then i broke one when i shot a pig, one when I shot a coyote, and 2 while target shooting.

Any suggestions as to what arrow I should switch to?

My husband has a monster 6, 30"dl, at around 70# and was literally driving the tips into the arrows when they hit their target. He now shoots Goldtip Pro Hunter XT 7595 with 75 gr tip. Total arrow weight is 408gn and he still shoots over 330fps. goldtip.com has a great chart to help you determine which spine, etc. to use and allows you to build your arrow online and get total weight, etc. Hope this helps.

I have a Monster 6 with 29.5 DL, 30 arrow lenght I had to go to GT Big Game 100 with 280 spine to get it to tune. At 20 yds bare shaft, FP, and BH all have same impact. Peace

I have my monster set at 70lbs and 29" of draw. I shoot Goldtip ultralights spined at .300 and they are awesome. The 7595XT's were too soft and would not tune. Had to go to the ultralights to get the spine. Shooting 100g tips by the way. Bullet holes and very good grouping.

I would give jerry at south shore archery a call or shoot him an email. i am no arrow spine expert but i do know that there is a lot of info missing in your discription that needs to be taken into account.

arrow length
whats on your string
make up of arrow (what fletching, wraps, nocks)
what FOC are you looking for

he is a great guy to deal with and will spend as much time as you need to determine the best shaft for your application.

hope this helps...also your sig needs a modifcation "by bow's a Monster" Tongue out
