I'm just getting into archery again and looking for a rest that will do well in casual target shooting, so 3D and a little hunting. I was thinking just go with the Mathews DownForce but also hear great things about the QAD Ultra and the Vapor Trail Limb Diver. I want to be able to compete with my buddies but it's really just more about having fun at the range. I'm not really looking to do sanctioned competition at this time.
With all of that in mind, would one of these work best or should I look at other rests? I prefer a quality product formost, price is not a major factor.
Thanks for the help,
John

I've been 100% satisfied with my LimbDriver Pro for both 3D and hunting.

I will have to say that Trophy Taker still ranks as one of the best. I have been using the same one for 3-D and hunting now for five years. And dont see any reason to change now.

I have used most of the rests mentioned in the above posts and would say you cant really go wrong with any of them.
I have the DownForce on my Monster for 3D,a TrophyTaker on my indoor target bow and a Schaffer Gen II on my Switchback for hunting.
They are all quality products, the only one I havnt tried is a QAD rest and Id really like to try one on my huntin rig!
