Congrats to both phipdeer and jtbhunter.
Been out of town on a job start-up, back now and archery season opens this weekend. Ended up getting all my clothes washed this weekend, sealed up in bags awaiting opening day. Practice will be limited this week as I don't want anything going wrong with my bow at the last minute. I do have my trusty MQ32 on stand by just in case though.

Now to hunt for my upgrade buck!

I took a doe! I need to get the picture to Vince and hopefully we'll get the points. We took the picture in the woods last night with a cell phone and it didn't come out very good.

Great job guys keeping us up there. After a week in the woods in P.A. no shooters, the zone I was hunting was 4 on one side or wait. I saw some stud 6 pointers that I had to let walk. But I'm back home now and after one of each for us. Don't give up on me,the meats coming.

Went out yesterday and what a miserable day it was, cold and wet but I was in the stand before daylight and got out at dark. One long day, I did it all for you guys.
Seen plenty of shooter does, and a couple of spikes. I was going to shoot a doe, just to get some meat in the freezer, but I was waiting for one of the bucks I've been seeing to show up. The doe's will be there and I've still got plenty of time.
Good luck twobears, I doubt anyone's giving up on ya brotha.

Got my doe down tonight. Both with the same arrow and head. I'll hone it up and start looking for an upgrade buck. Good luck to you all this week. I'm not givin up on any of you. Every minute in the stand could be the one your waiting for.

Congrats phipdeer.
Don't know if I'll have enough time to get any hunts in after work this week or not. I don't get home until 6:15 or so and I don't want to chance pushing a potential out of any area. I do get Friday's & Saturday's and 5 days between hunts in one area allows it to cool down a little.
Good luck fella's, again, great job by all.

This is whats been hanging around me all morning. Little button buck. So I'm setting here right now watching this little guy meal around, bed down, pretty much being a little entertianment for me. No shooters yet fellas, but I'm gonna stick it out & sit here the entire day if I have to. Weather is good & I believe a front is moving in so hopefully the action will pick up. Well its just now starting to rain. Later.

Went out yesterday afternoon. The only things I saw were squirrels and birds. Oh well...that's why they call it hunting and not killing. It's supposed to rain here today, but Wednesday is looking good.

Wednesday....is out. I'm having trouble finding time to get to the woods. And I STILL have yet to see anything with antlers. And to top it all off our time will reset this weekend and I'll lose an hour of hunting in the afternoon. It's going to make hunting after work a lot harder. But that magical time known as the rut is just around the corner. I luv goofy bucks!

Just a little up date from Florida, We've had near record highs the last 2 weeks. When I climbed out of the stand Thurs.night it was 88 deg. Not the best weather to hunt, as our dear will go pure nocturnal. So... I picked up the feeder and ladder stand and moved it back in to the swamp on the property. I guess if they won't come out to me,I'm going in after them. Nasty, filty hunting, but there's a 10pt. back there that I'm on a mission for. Going to sit it tonight,we'll see what happens.
